Thank you Toronto!

Diner en Blanc Toronto wins Best Media Event at the 2013 Canadian Event Industry/Star Awards!! 

It's only been a few days and we're overwhelmed by all the positive feedback - THANKS to the 1400 who made Aug 9th so memorable!
 
We have to hand out some serious credit for Toronto’s inaugural Diner en Blanc. First to our amazing team: Stephanie Canarte, Jordan Fogle, Carole Ito, Chethan Lakshman, Euan Lampitt, Jeanine Laver, Deirdre Molloy, Lara O'Brien, Alexandra Ross, Julia Simpson, Corrina Sosnowich and everyone at The Mint Agency.

Also, last night would not have been nearly as fabulous without the wine from Mike Weir, Lulu B, Big House and the delicious picnic baskets from Chef Ted Corrado (Gourmet Cuisine). Also thanks to Smart Water for keeping us well hydrated, Gervais for all the rentals and table/chair packages, and the great music of Beez Kneez , Against the Grain Opera and DJ Vinny Gruvhunter.

So many people went into creating such a great event, especially our AMAZING volunteers who coordinated groups from across the city...and of course YOU! To our founding members and their guests, we are incredibly thankful for the positive energy (in the rain) and are thrilled that Toronto has embraced Diner en Blanc.
 
Now...2013, if you’re looking to snag an invite here's the deal:
1) if you were a 2012 'member' and attended, you're guaranteed a wave 1 invite next year.
2) if you attended as a 'guest'. Be REALLY nice to your friend so they invite you back or ask them to 'sponsor' you to join DEB with a wave 2 invite (each member gets to sponsor one new table next year).
