Merci, Toronto!

On Wednesday, August 7th 2019,  2,300 Torontonians came together at Roundhouse Park and Steamwhistle Brewing to enjoy a truly magical evening. A celebration of friendships, new and old, a dinner with thousands, and even a wedding proposal - the 8th edition of Diner en Blanc Toronto was one for the books!

On behalf of the Committee and our volunteers - thank you for taking this journey with us. Our members are the reason why we commit countless hours throughout the year. You are the faces of Diner en Blanc Toronto and we cherish this yearly celebration of “joie de vivre”. 

A huge thank you to our local partners, Food Dudes, Yorkville Village, Acqua Panna, and City of Toronto, we loved how you elevated the evening for our guests with incredible photos opps, contests and a flawless dining experience. To all our supporters, Kind Bars, Tonic Blooms, Charlie’s Burgers, Carte Blanche Bar, Cellar 82, the Mint Agency and JAK Agency, your involvement gave Diner en Blanc Toronto that special touch. 

To our group and table leaders, you guided our guests along the Diner en Blanc journey - with advice on what to pack, how to get prepared and ultimately through the streets and subways of Toronto to the secret location. You make this event possible for the thoughts who attend. THANK YOU. 

Last but not least, to our dedicated committee. Jessica Tan, Jordan Fogle, Naz Javidneshan, Alaine Perrow, Kristin Macintosh, Erin Thomson, Tolu Adegbusi, Jacqueline Kendall, Samantha Yarwood, Samantha Duncan, Angie Camera, Cana Karatuna, Melissa Dumas, and Lauren Yanick, We spent the last year planning for August 7th. You gave countless hours, evenings and weekends to pull together one of Toronto’s marquee events. We applaud you and thank you for your dedication on behalf of our 2300 guests.

This year’s location was 5 years in the making and made possible by the City Councilor and our friends at the Toronto Parks, Forestry and Rec. department. After an evening surrounded by the CN Tower, Steam Whistle, and the lights of the big city, we are confident to say this was the best year yet!
