The City’s Most Iconic Dinner Party Returns To Toronto To Celebrate its 9th Edition on July 28, 2022. Acclaimed Alo Chef Patrick Kriss teams up with The Food Dudes for new epicurean experience.

Le Dîner en Blanc – Toronto returns for its 9th edition! On Thursday, July 28, 2022 at a new secret location, guests will dine and dance under the stars for the first time in two years. 

Le Dîner en Blanc is an event that transports us into another world. The sea of ​​people all adorned in white creates images that are instantly ‘Instagram-able’. Meeting new people or reuniting with longtime friends.  Getting all dressed up to attend a dinner à la française where conversation and champagne are essential. 

Jessica Tan and Jordan Fogle, co-hosts of Le Dîner en Blanc in Toronto, are glad that Le Dîner en Blanc is returning to the city. “After two long years, Le Dîner en Blanc Toronto is finally returning and we couldn’t be more excited," said Jessica Tan, co-host of Le Dîner en Blanc Toronto. “This year we’ve got some surprises up our sleeves, all while maintaining that special Diner en Blanc magic we’re known for, so we encourage everyone to register early.”

The elegant all-in-white fête will feature an exciting addition for this year’s return, a new culinary offering from Chef Patrick Kriss of Alo as well as Le Dîner en Blanc Toronto’s longtime catering partner, Food Dudes. 

“We are excited to resume our long-time partnership with Diner en Blanc Toronto after a two-year hiatus during the pandemic,” said Food Dudes Founder, Chef Adrian Niman. “We are creating something extra special this year with top chef, Patrick Kriss, for an exciting culinary experience at one of the most sought-after food events of the summer.”

“In collaboration with the Food Dudes, we are developing a menu of elevated picnic comforts that is inspired by the season’s finest ingredients and infused with Alo’s signature contemporary French fine-dining cuisine,” said Chef Patrick Kriss of Alo. “The curated culinary offerings, paired with a beautiful outdoor setting and the elevated and luxurious ambiance of Diner en Blanc, will deliver an unforgettable delight for all the senses.”

Participation in this unique event happens in three stages: Phase 1 is for members from the previous edition; Phase 2 is for new members who are referred by Phase I attendees; and Phase 3 is for people who signed up on the waiting list.  To get the opportunity to be part of the experience, people can sign up now by visiting toronto.dinerenblanc.com and clicking on the Register tab.

To maintain the uniqueness of Le Dîner en Blanc as well as staying true to tradition, guests must observe certain requirements and follow a few key rules: 

• Dress code: elegant and white only. Originality is encouraged as long as it is stylish and tasteful. 

• Table setting:  all white!

• Champagne and/or wine. Beer and hard liquor are prohibited. 

  • As per Ontario alcohol regulations, guests cannot bring their own alcohol. Guests wishing to enjoy some wine or Champagne, must reserve online through Le Dîner en Blanc’s e-store. However, guests are welcome to bring their own non-alcoholic beverages

• To ensure that the location secret is kept undisclosed until the last minute, guests meet at assigned departure locations and are escorted by a Dîner en Blanc volunteer.

• In order to leave the event location as clean as when they arrived, guests are required to leave with all their belongings, leftovers and litter.

Guests must bring

• A table, two white chairs, and white tablecloth.

• A picnic basket comprising fine food and proper stemware and white dinnerware. 

  • A catered picnic basket option, which can be picked up on site, will be available for those who do not wish to pack their own. Guests wishing to do so must reserve online through Le Dîner en Blanc’s e-store.
